Jim Jensen was a second round pick out of the University of Iowa for the Cowboys in 1976, only to be traded the next year to the Broncos.  Jensen found himself in that '77 season playing against many of his former teammates in Super Bowl XII.  Although Denver didn't win that day in New Orleans it's still one of Jim's highlights from his playing days.

Jim was known for his versatility, speed and receiving, yet one of his favorite coaches, Red Miller gave him the nickname "Froggy" because his stance looked like a frog sitting on a lily pad.

Jenson said, Roger Staubach and Randy Gradishar were two of the best players he ever played with during his seven years in the league, while Lawrence Taylor was one of the toughest he ever went up against.  Jim finished his career with the Packers and later moved his family back to the Denver area.

Jim now keeps busy as the Vice President of Marketing for a real estate development company, and the Director of Marketing for a minor league hockey team. He is also a co-owner of a bar and restaurant.
